Anthony Lyons co-founded Matterhorn Capital, a real estate investment vehicle in 2007, following the success of St. James Capital, a real estate investment company, which focused on UK real estate founded in 1999. Matterhorn and its predecessor St. James Capital have invested
approximately $2.5 billion in a variety of real estate, hospitality and other types of long term cash flow leases. He co-founded the Gold Initiative and joined Daniel Gold as a partner in FES in 2012, becoming Daniel Gold's strategic partner in bringing the FES business model forward.
Joseph A. Piscitell is the founder, President and CEO of DAMG Worldwide, a holding company, that provides principal investment and financial advisory services for transportation and social infrastructure projects.
His 20 + years experience in the aviation industry include substantial experience in aircraft lease finance, project financing, and aviation strategic planning for consulting firms. Mr. Piscitell has served as an advisor and an investor in a number of aviation-related transactions, both domestic and worldwide. DAMG Worldwide is the result of Mr. Piscitell's vision to combine the financial and real estate aspects of transportation infrastructure development with design and construction, under a single corporate umbrella.
Prior to founding DAMG, Mr. Piscitell was President of Starwood Aviation Group, LLC
(a unit of Starwood Capital Group, LLC). In that capacity, he was responsible for all airport development projects across a broad array of asset classes including hotels, air cargo facilities and parking garages. Before Starwood, he was President of an equipment leasing company, specializing in leveraged leasing of aircraft, telecommunications, and computer systems.
Mr. Piscitell was also a partner in a regional accounting firm where he spearheaded their corporate finance practice, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, and project finance. Mr. Piscitell started his career in the audit practice of KPMG. Mr. Piscitell, a Certified Public Accountant, has an extensive background in international business with significant overseas experience. He graduated cum laude from Iona College with a BBA in Accounting.
Simon Conway qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993. After leaving Stoy Hayward, he created an independent real estate business. In 1999, Simon created, with Anthony Lyons, St. James Capital, which focused on UK real estate. Between 1999 and 2004 St. James Capital created a mixed-use portfolio that specialized in hospitality and retail investments with a combined value of $406 million.
In 2004, he acquired, with
Lyons, London's leading exhibition center, Earls Court & Olympia (EC&O) for $373. EC&0 featured over $1.6 million square feet of real estate, visitor numbers per annum and 375 staff. In 2007, Simon co- founded with Lyons, Matterhorn Capital, which has been actively involved with real estate in the UK, France and the USA. Since 2012, Simon has served as Chief Operating Officer to Future Energy Solutions and its global operations.
Daniel Gold began his a career in the food and beverage industry in 1987 working for Food Brokers a UK company representing some of the UK's top brands. After being the top UK salesman for the division for 6 straight quarters, he founded Rushteam, an industrial cleaning and janitorial products supplier in 1989. Under Gold's leadership, Rushteam successfully expanded and now has offices in seven European countries employing over 300 people. In 2003 Gold successfully acquired ISA International, a global toner cartridge and stationery company. Over the next five years ISA became one of the top privately held companies in Great Britain. ISA was listed as the 63rd most successful company by the Times Newspaper's annual survey, leading to its sale to publically traded Electra Partners in May 2007. Through Gold's
leadership the Company having made losses prior to the takeover saw performance improvement and led to profits on sale of over £15 mil pa. Gold then took on his next venture in 2009 moving to Miami, Florida to set up Future Energy Solutions, an industrial lighting manufacturer specializing in green technology and energy efficient lighting supplies. Over the next four years Gold took FES from a start up to a company undertaking lighting projects in America and Europe. Through his extensive knowledge, Gold found a huge void in the energy savings market creating the Gold Initiative Program. This unique proposition is unmatched by any company. After heavy due diligence the Gold Initiative is now being rolled out in America, Europe, the Caribbean and Dominican Republic.
Courtney Glickman's most recent role prior to joining DAMG Lighting was as head of the Estate Planning Division for Alternative Divorce Solutions, a boutique family law practice in Newport Beach, CA.
She oversaw the entire department and helped many families in transition ease future uncertainties and plan for the unexpected.
Ms. Glickman was a law clerk at Stienbrecher & Span in Los Angeles, a civil litigation firm that specializes in aviation law and regulation. She also has extensive experience in
marketing and social media, after working at companies such as PMK/HBH Public Relations and Trends West Publication. Ms. Glickman has a BA in Philosphy from Tulane University in New Orleans. She attended FIDM shortly thereafter where she received her degree in marketing, after which she attended Whittier Law School where she obtained her J.D.
She is a member of the California State Bar Trusts and Estate Section as well as the American Bar Association and Beverly Hills Bar Association.
